NEW MOON IN VIRGO SOLAR ECLIPSE UPDATE – SEPT 11, 2007

During this very symbolic New Moon in Virgo eclipse (9/11 at 8:45am EDT)
we are being given a cosmic “dispensation”, as old karma, and old
patterns are dissolved and reconfigured. during the time that the powerful
magnetic rays of the sun are “blocked” from reaching the earth. What if we
could thread through a black hole, go back in time, and reinvent the
catastrophe and chaos of 9/11? We cannot literally go back in time, but if we can
imagine a reality in our hearts where love replaces fear and compassion
replaces control, then we are well on our way of learned the lessons of this
Virgo/Pisces eclipse cycle.

The collective karmic lessons of Virgo/Pisces are those of the entire
2,000 years of the Age of Pisces: service vs. slavery; spirituality vs.
judgment and control. This is a time when all religious beliefs mirror each
other’s shadow side. Fundamentalism and divisiveness of any sort only breed
more of the same. As two of the world’s major religions celebrate high holy
days this week, we can ponder what does true spirituality really mean?

Eclipses are cyclical in nature. Nineteen years ago on Sept 10, 1988, was
the last solar eclipse at this same degree (18 degrees Virgo). In you
personal life, whatever was highlighted around that time will now be
culminating and coming to a close, or ready to go to the next level.

This solar eclipse is made more potent by several factors. A few days
before the eclipse (Sept 7), Pluto completed its retrograde phase which began
last March 31. This was a major time for review, release and realignment of
our belief structures. Things needed to be weeded out. Now we are ready to
move on. Pluto is in exact aspect to the Sun on Sept 19. We need to be
cautious about jumping to rash conclusions or trying to manipulate or control
others. Be very aware of who is trying to control or manipulate you as
well....media, government, religion, relationships? Take a “time out” and
reassess where you want to place your energy now. There may be a few more
“shocks” around as Uranus is also in aspect the Sun and Moon eclipse
points.

Virgo is also the sign that rules health. What is most beneficial for our
physical health and well-being right now? Paying attention to diet,
exercise, and trying to reduce stress levels are extremely important over the
next two weeks. It is very important to stay grounded and focused in our
bodies as they potent energies climax.

As if there was not enough going on, the Autumn Equinox (Sept 23). falls
between this New Moon eclipse and end the Full Moon (Sept 26). This is the
day of complete balance, equal day and night. It is a time for us to
re-examine our relationships and see where we are out of balance. Where do we
give too much? too little? Are we honoring the Earth and all the life forms
upon it? If not, we will be dealing with severe consequences in the not too
distant future.


This is a very active time astrologically, and there will indeed be some
challenging ramifications over the next few months (especially if you are a
Virgo or Pisces, or have major planets at 18 degrees of either of those
signs), as solar eclipses are all about endings and beginnings. However,
great leaps of faith are possible during an eclipse, for out of the greatest
darkness comes the greatest light. The New Moon is traditionally the time
when new seeds of consciousness are planted. On a personal level, during this
New Moon, envision and meditate on a New Earth of peace and beauty, rather
than dwelling on the “old” pictures of annihilation and destruction.
For all is possible during this brief respite when the energetic cosmic
matrices can shift more easily.

Where do you truly wish to be of service? Do you feel connected to your
soul’s purpose and destiny? Do you feel connected to your body? Do you
value the Earth? Are you willing to become a co-creator of your reality? If
so, then it is truly time to step up to the plate!

NEW MOON IN VIRGO RITUAL MEDITATION: for Sept. 11, 2007

(You will want to work AFTER the New Moon 5:45am PDT, 8:45am EDT. You can
do this alone or with a group.

The Moon in Virgo is dedicated to Isis; the Goddess of the Grain and
bountiful harvest.

This is an Earth Moon. If you cannot be in nature, use flowers, greenery,
grains (especially wheat or barley) things that remind you of the Earth:
rocks, seeds, fruits placed in a bowl
You can have a round crystal ball or globe to represent the earth, if you
wish.
Colors: white, green,
Gemstone” Peridot. Green stones or Lapis
Water or chalice/cup of water or wine.
Incense: Sandalwood
Candle: White or green

Light your incense and/or sage.
Then, say your Blessing of Protection. You are working only in the Light,
for the Highest Good of All. All negative or disruptive energies are
banished from your Circle of Light.
Ask for the Blessings and Protection of Isis and her sister Goddess
Nepthys, to aid you in your work on this Full Moon eclipse.

Then you may ask for the manifestation of your New Moon List (which you
have compiled previously) You can ask for your own personal requests, as
well as those of the planetary healing, balance...you can send Light & Love to
the areas that have suffered severe earth changes, etc...
You can do your meditation/visualization for the New Earth, etc..(.this
is your time to commune with God/ Goddess and your guides.)

Afterwards, you can share, the fruits, wine...you can journal or tell
your experiences aloud.....
Some circles also prefer to drum, dance, chant in celebration...it is up
to you.

Remember to give thanks to the Goddess and your guides and CLOSE the
Circle by extinguishing the candles.

"Imagine Peace Tower, as planned by the 73-year-old artist, will be 20 to 30 meters high with a radius of about a meter, and will have the lyrics of Lennon's song "Imagine" engraved on it once completed by his 67th birthday next year. The illuminated column, constructed over a base with a radius of about 10 meters, will be filled with messages of wishes and hopes from more than 900,000 people that have been collected so far.

A special mailbox for the monument will be set up in the city to continue accepting more letters to go into the monument."

On this day next year the obelisk will cast its light of peace for the first time from the island of Videy off the coast of Reykjavík. The pole will be 20 meters high and shine 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The renowned artist and peace activist first got the idea for the peace pole 40 years ago. This is reported in all the main media.

In a press conference held yesterday, Yoko Ono said: “The timing could not be more appropriate. Right now, light is what the world so desperately needs. We all live in the darkness and confusion of a polluted world. This column of light in Iceland will not be extinguished.”

The Peace Tower is due to be lit from John Lennon's birthday October 9th 2007 to the anniversary of his death December 9th 2007

YOKO Ono called to talk about her Imagine Peace Tower going up in Ice land, a land, she says, of purity in land and water: "I wanted the tower to stay forever, but 24 hours a day, 365 days a year is heavy maintenance and electricity. With 24-hour daylight in summer, keeping it visible becomes an expensive undertaking, which scared the administration. So for now, it starts from John's birthday until his death - Oct. 9 to Dec. 8. Creating it wasn't that expensive. The government helped since this becomes a tourist attraction. I realized that, with contrasting the two symbolic dates, it gives an understanding of the shortness of life, and eternity of the spirit. It reminds one how brief life can be and is significant even for those not into John Lennon's life.

"Actually, this is answered prayer because my first time in John's house he talked about building a lighthouse. I never knew how to conceptualize that. I never believed this could be reality. Someday this tower will be lit 365 days for 24 hours, but for now I'm not pushing it. Forever is a long time."
